From the early age of 10, Bryan began his life in music with piano. He coordinated his own private lessons with a teacher 2 years after he began. Shortly after, he started his classical training through the ABRSM piano course. Currently, he is working on his grade 8 certification for ABRSM.
Bryans dedication for music elevated to the next level after discovering his passion for playing the guitar. Digging the old forgotten acoustic out of his storage room, he began playing guitar during the Covid-19 lockdown. From this point on, Bryan expressed this love for playing guitar in the many bands he went on to play in. He played in the middle school jazz band, bands at Wakefield’s old School of Rock program, audition district bands and more. Now he plays in the Reading Memorial High School jazz band and marching band, a North Reading winter percussion ensemble, and a student-led jazz combo.
Of all the local music schools in the area, it was Alpha Omega Music Studios that Bryan wanted to teach at the most. 7 years ago he started piano in AOMS with private piano lessons, which created Bryan’s personal connection to this music school. As a teenager searching for a job, he decided he wanted to make some use of all the experience he had in music. Landing a job in AOMS as a teacher put him in exactly the position he wanted and finally allowed him to apply the musical knowledge he gained over the years.
He loves to teach and loves music, and is excited to further contribute to the AOMS community!
