Lisa

Vocals, Piano & Guitar

Lisa has been singing and performing for over 25 years, from professional dinner theater to Boston area clubs and restaurants, to summer stock, to cable TV. She has also been playing the piano and guitar for over 25 years. Her degree is in Musical Theater from the Boston Conservatory of Music, and she has also studied music at Berklee College of Music.

For a number of successful years, Lisa led her own jazz ensemble called Standard Hits in the Boston area. Her many roles in musicals include Jenny in Shenandoah, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz and BeBe in A Chorus Line with the original Broadway staging/choreography, with Laurie Gamache and Robert Lupone.

Lisa loves teaching voice, piano and guitar at Alpha Omega Music Studios to students from age 5 to 65. She also freelances in the Boston area as a church pianist, and sings and plays at weddings, funerals and functions. Lisa is grateful for her many years of ministerial work solo’ing, leading and playing on worship teams for local churches.

She is a licensed Music Teacher in the state of Massachusetts and is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS).

Besides vocals, piano and guitar, Lisa used to dance and teach jazz professionally along with competing in ballroom dance in Boston and Philadelphia. She has coached many vocal and instrumental ensembles, and directed and choreographed many productions educationally, liturgically and in the community.
