Winter Music Mania
Prior experience of 3 months or more playing an instrument is recommended.
Kids attending will learn:
• Skills of how to interact and communicate musically with peer musicians
• How to jam & write songs, and work collaboratively with peers
• Learn about a recording studio and music production
• Learn how music is recorded in a professional recording studio, and about various musical gear
Did you know we have ROCKSTAR WEEK PROGRAMS offered winter, spring, and summer during school vacation weeks? Rockstar Week is the coolest week of jamming, recording, collaborating musically with peers, writing and recording your own song!! Monday – Friday, 9am-2pm. The class will be divided into a couple or few small “bands” under the direction of Ken Polk. Those attending will learn the basics of how to interact and communicate musically with peer musicians focusing on writing original songs.
Students will jam together & write their own personal song, learn how music is recorded in a professional studio, and all about various types of musical gear. Tasty, fun lunches will also be provided daily including, “Taco Tuesday,” and our very famous and popular, “Waffle Wednesday”! Take advantage of our early registration discount! Register early for a huge savings of $325 for the week. Cost after will be $379. Contact us at 978-613-2255 for early registration deadline. Space is limited to 12 students, so please signup EARLY to secure your spot. **We have a maximum of 4 drummers per week** Students should have approximately 6 months of instruction or prior knowledge of an instrument.
