Mike Moore is a diverse and seasoned guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter in the New England music scene. He performed at SXSW 2017 fronting his rock band Fire in the Field. He has opened for acts such as Creedence Clearwater Revival and has shared the stage with Luther Dickinson (formerly of The Black Crowes) and Peter Prince & Moon Boot Lover. When not performing with Fire in the Field or Grammy winner Jay Frigoletto in The Diplomats of Funk he is a sought after hired gun for diverse New England acts such as Red Sky Mary, Michael Bernier & Freevolt, and Miss Fairchild.
Mike has had two albums licensed to MTV, NASCAR, E!, DISCOVERY – most recently a song from his 2016 record “Look So Strange” appeared on the Discovery Channel show “Garage Rehab.” Mike and his band have sold out shows at Middle East Cambridge. Performed at acclaimed venues across New England including Bank of America Pavilion, The Paradise, Thunder Road, The Bitter End (NYC), and El Cid (LA).
Mike has been working all facets of being a musician for fifteen years and brings real-world experience to the lesson room. Growing up in East Kingston, NH Mike had the pleasure of learning from guitar virtuoso Ned Chase of the thirty year band Truffle. Those cherished times of one-on-one lessons with Ned incited a passion in Mike to teach and pass on the language of music!
